IT ALL STARTED IN FLORIDA

I was born in 1966, a great year. Also the year of the Monkees and Star Trek. So I’m in good company. I was an only child (or so I thought) and had divorced parents so my only real friend was Drooper from the Banana Splits. My imagination was on overdrive (it still is) and I put myself in tv shows and movies and dreamed of acting.

I learned a great deal about myself while I was still in Florida. I learned forgiveness and I came to accept that on some level we all choose our parents. Their flaws have given me strength and made me a better parent. Thanks Mom and Dad, I love you both and I miss you.

I didn’t pursue acting right away, I went the traditional route. Got married, had 2 girls, got divorced, met the love of my life, got married, had 3 boys. Found my domestic bliss.

In my 40’s, I finally decided to become an actor. And of course, you go to NYC for that, right? Well, I’m close. We moved to the Poconos in 2015 and have been living the country life ever since. I go to NYC whenever acting jobs take me there, then I come home to the family, chickens and dogs. Best of both worlds (Star Trek reference).

Dreams never die, they just wait for you to catch up with them. And it’s a great ride! Thanks to my love, Mike for joining me on this journey.

Last but not least, thank you to Chelsea, Eleni, Tommy, Kevin, Christopher. You are my reason for living. Thanks for choosing me as your mom.
